Let’s also add that, unless you an immigrant from Africa, you are NOT African American and should not be called such. If you are going to insist on setting the record straight then be sure to set all of them.
While we’re at it, paying restitutions is a bunch of bull, and you know it. Whatever my ancestors may have done to your ancestors, if anything, doesn’t mean I owe you anything. If you are looking for an apology, you won’t get it from me. I feel to same about Native Americans. If my ancestors did anything to your’s, that sucks but those were the times, and it wasn’t my fault.
Also, to the person in the second to last photo, America wasn’t just built on the backs of black folks. My white ancestors had a hand in it’s construction too. Don’t assume that your people are the only ones who made this great nation happen. You don’t get to claim that credit. Maybe your ancestors do.. but not you.
